    Hooray,

I am very pleased. I have been pretty good this go around. Breakfast is either sausage or bacon (not a fan of eggs) and glass of the sugar free metamucil. Salad for my lunch at work and dinner is a burger or chicken with a green veggie. Lots of water. Gym 2 of the 5 days...scheduling difficulties.

Going to try one of the pizza recipes today...boredom and pizza are my weak points on this plan.

Be sure to eat a combination of fats, protein and carbs with every meal. So add some protein to that lunch salad.

Baby spinach, cheddar cheese, bacon bit's, slivered almonds...and ranch, with some pickled okra...sometimes cherry tomatoes....hope that's a fair mix

Sounds like a great salad - but remember, almonds are an OWL food (the third level/rung). Are the bits of bacon made from real bacon or the pseudo bacon bits you can buy for salad toppings?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Yep, I know they're up the rung...but it's probably only a tablespoon, just for the crunch...and real bacon...I make it in my microwave and keep it in a small plastic container.

Nuts are one of those things I can only use as a condiment...given half the chance I could eat a whole bag of cashews...so nut's I keep to the "enhancing my meal" status...not a snack.
