I was just about to pick up a restaurant salad when it occurred to me that I know nothing about the house dressing. I can stop by the grocery store and pick somethingup.

Tomatoes are allowed. They are on the "other" (1c/day) veggies list. Tomato sauce is allowed, but alot of the store-bought ones have sugar added, so check the labels. I find that tomato sauce is quite high in carbs...makes sense, it is concentrated tomato...so be careful & count the carbs

I use Marie's Bleu/Blue Cheese. I also found some Italian dressing with no sugar in it. I had to really dig through all the salad dressings to find it.
I know a lot of people make their own. I am not ready for that yet.
