    Re: Day 4 - 7.5 lbs lost!

    Day 12
I have no idea how much weight I've lost total because it's my TOM and I don't feel like weighing myself during that... all my clothes fit the same as they did last week though so I'm guessing that my weight loss has plateaued - probably since it was so high the first week. Not my favorite but no big deal. I'm staying strictly on plan and will continue induction for two more weeks. I've cut out the sour-cream/yogurt stuff because I was having the munchies for a couple of days there and thought maybe that had to do with it. The bad thing is that I have gotten OFF-TRACK with exercise. So much stuff to do this week- I skipped yoga 3 days in a row and feel very very guilty. Next week going out of town for three days also.
Trying to keep focused on the long term goal even though I am sick sick sick of being fat right NOW

      Hey slidesdownmountains!
Didn't see your post until just now I do different styles of yoga, mainly vinyasa now, lots of sun-salutes and sweating. I know people who swear by Bikram but I cannot stand to be that hot. I used to do ashtanga but got injured and am waiting until I have more of a practice to get back into it. Isn't it amazing how well and quickly yoga tones you? Same with pilates...

Phaedra - best to stay off the scale with TOM..... I used to step on it anyway and get discouraged and that was just dumb on my part.

You are doing great!!! I'm excited to keep reading up on your progress!

          Hey Phaedra,

Yeah - I love both pilates and yoga! Pilates was the only thing that restored the flexibility in my back after I suffered a compression fracture to my lumbar spine - really strengthened my whole core up
Am trying to be a bit more disciplined with doing some more ashtanga practice, but we're in the middle of moving so heaven knows where everything is! A few sun salutations is all I'm getting in, plus the pole fitness classes and a bit of pole practive at home, but someone commented on how slim and toned my arms looked the other day which was great!!

          Namaste!!

            Day 13, 10.5 pounds down!
I'm happy but also the fact that I have 30 pounds to go still is, like, alarming. THIS is why I need to exercise: emotionally I become less invested in the number (and thenless likely to get discouraged) when I can see and feel how my body is changing due to exercising. Okay - back on the horse! Off to yoga!
            have a great day all!
