Re: Planning on drinking alcohol during induction
I wouldn'd drink if I were you, My first week back on this WOL I dediced that I could handle the cravings etc. and had 2 scotch on the rocks, which I usuallu can drink upwards of four with 2 I was very drunk, threw up, didnt remember much of that night, felt horrible the next day, took me about 2 days to recuperate and to top it off stalled my weight loss for a week. Was it worth it? No way, so you be the judge if you want to drink or not but trust me you will be complaining afterwards.

..about 6 of them...I did experience weight gain for a few days but then it went back down. I do drink socially on a rare occassion and choose either the Mich ultra or diet soda w/something added. I try not to have too much, and I try to account for each and every carb.
Its a wishy washy way to handle your health and its not good...but its what has happened to me in the past...fyi, I am still overweight and have not had good success in the past with this way of life due to ocassional drinking and my filling guilty about keeping hubby from his way of eating etc
Keep trying, keep the occasions of drinking to very specific important/rare times and maybe, just maybe...you 'might' make it!
But remember what the other advice givers have said, as they are correct! They know from experience. They know what works and what doesn't. You can count on them to have the right answers. Most of them have lost more weight than I ever have so they are the ones you really should listen too!
