  • I ate an AVOCADO!!!

    CRAPZILLA!!!! This is my official day one and I screwed up! I took a 4oz avocado (skin, seed included) and ate it at lunch with my ham slices and lettuce.
    Have I totally goofed up already??OMG!! I am sooooo dang disappointed!

    Curses!

    I see on page 129 it says "half a small avocado" and they may need to be avoided.



    Other than that, just eggs, ham, cheese, lettuce, sausage and gum.
    Totally screwed?

    Calm down. Avocado is hardly the worst thing you could eat.We are allowed half a small avocado on induction. So you are definitely as good as perfect still. Very good fat in avocado so keep eating them.

      Not screwed. That was a small avocado...at most it was a bit more than recommended. Dr. A mentions that avocados may need to be avoided as they cause stalls or slow weight loss with some people. It is your first day...you don't know this yet.

      RELAX. You had a good first day.

      p.s. Maybe ditch the gum. Also, tomorrow check your veggies...are you having enough? We can have veggies from both lists.
