    Re: Favorite Snacks?

Well i pre-cook egg muffins. You can throw them in the freezer and then throw them in the microwave and you are good when you need something quick. This is a good link for egg muffins

Dill pickles - sweet pickles (look for the kind made with splenda) - sliced bell pepper or celery with a little cream cheese spread on them and some spice or herb sprinkled on them - an ounce or two of cheddar sliced up - a slice of plain ham or roast beef spread with a little mayo and wrapped around a pickle spear - deviled eggs (I get bored with boiled eggs) - half a cup of plain pumpkin with a little butter and a pack of splenda, heated up - spice up some mayo with something and dip with some raw veggies.

Sorry, but carrots aren't for quite a while: OWL Rung 8. Please refer to the acceptable foods list for Induction. Carrots aren't there!

Also check the ingredients on the sausage; there should not be any sugar or starches in there.

            Re: Favorite Snacks?

            Hahahahahahahah.... OK...OK......

I guess the pork rinds ARE a regional thing! BUT ... there are TWO kinds of what people consider "pork rinds". The kind you normally get at the gas stations would be considered "cracklins". Those are pork rinds that still have hog fat on them and are deep fried. Those can be iffy and are an acquired taste, even here in the South.
The grocery pork rinds are fluffier and lighter. THOSE are what most of us pork rind lovers eat. You can get them in flavors (as horriffic as THAT sounds) such as BBQ, Salt & Pepper, Chile & Lime, etc. I too get on pork rind burnout at times.

The whole "liver stuck in my throat" thing really got me good!! I laughed so much I had to respond to it! It's my "southernly" duty

Personally, I don't snack TOO much but I do really dig: string cheese (in moderation), some veggies, bacon and boiled eggs with lemon pepper. I get some crazy looks but I get full, staying on plan and know how great it is paying off!!

Good luck and keep up the great work!!!
