    Tracy...I am a big fan of Walden Farm's salad dressing. My husband and I started using them a few years ago. I haven't tried their sweet stuff but the thousand island dressing is my favorite while my husband favors their french dressing. It's a matter of personal taste. It's like diet Dr. Pepper. It tastes good as long as you recognize it for what it is instead of comparing it to what it should be.

      How much PURE water do you drink daily? 100 oz of grape kool-aid (doesn't matter if it's sugar free or not) is way too much - 1 maybe 2 glasses of this daily should be all your drinking. You should be getting a MINIMUM of 64 ounces of PURE water daily....nothing added.

      Why didn't you order a plain hamburger, take it home, add your own cheese and enjoy the same meal your family had? Is the hamburger not good? Too many fillers? Also, how was the chicken at Swiss Chalet prepared? What spices on top? Any sugars?

      What are you "sauces" you were talking about? Check everything - put it through a carb calculator to see if there are any hidden carbs (you'd be surprised at the number of 0 carb - so called "good for you" foods have hidden carbs).

      Good luck to you -- drink PURE water before you drink anything else! If you've read the book you know it's discussed there.

          im doing good!! i'm feeling better... adding that bit of grape powder to the water really helped me get through it. just the different flavour.. i didnt mix it one package to 2 litres of water like the pack says, i mixed it just about 1/4 of a teaspoon to 20oz bottle, just enough to give it a hint of flavour and settle my stomach a bit. i do normally drink clear water, but this past week has just been rough with the illness and everything, i was really dehydrated but couldnt stomach the water, so i did what i had to in order to get through induction without falling off the wagon. I havent weighed in the last couple of days because of TOM, and i've decided to do another 2 weeks of induction. i just got my veggies all ready for tomorrow, and the cravings are gone. my fridge is loaded with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, celery for the next couple of days. Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement.

          Carole, the sauces im talking about the bbq sauce etc, i made those, so i know exactly what's in them!

            Carole- the chicken at swiss chalet is prepared without sugar, they pour salt in the cavity and put it on the spit for the rotisserie, and brush it with chicken fat. my hubby worked there while he was going through highschool/college.
