  • Day two down

    And all is going well. However, does anyone know how many carbs cough syrup has in it? I am sick and have been taking it twice a day. I have kept my carbs way low though, so I bet I am okay.

    Breakfast was bacon & herbal tea with Truvia

    Snack: Pork skins

    Lunch: Tuna fish on a bed of salad and tomatoes

    Snack: Pork skins

    Dinner: Crustless hamburger/broccoli quiche

    Snack: Herbal tea with Truvia


    I am up to 72 oz of water today, still adding to it

    Now, I do not see the pork skins on the acceptable foods list, so I guess I will have to scratch them. They were such a good thing to give me that salty crunch.

    Time to find another snack to eat.

    Too many ... it's filled with sugar.

    You can, however, get a sugar free one ... there's diabetic Robitussin.

    Pork skins are fine ... just make sure that if they're flavored, they don't have sugar in the list of ingredients (most do).

      Way to go Ellie. I'm on day 2 also. Fitday has been an excellent tool to keep track of fats/protein/carbs and calories to help you stay on track. Keep it up.
