    I'm not sure how much one should lose but I've lost 4.4lbs in the first week.
    I must say I was expecting more as I have so much to loose and I have stuck to the rules 100%, could it just be a slow start?
    I'm feeling a lot better though, more energy for sure so I suppose that should be the up side
    Heaviest weight - 350 lbs

    Atkins Start weight – 333 lbs

    Current weight 282 lbs

    1st major goal 310 lbs (25 December 2009 at 43 days)
    2nd major goal 290 lbs (08 February 2010 at 88 days)
    3rd major goal 270 lbs
    4th major goal 250 lbs


    Goal weight - 240

    My reason for doing Atkins, mah boyz

    Congratulations and welcome.

    That's a very good start. Don't hassle yourself about the amount of the weekly loss, which in this case is very good. Stick to the program religiously, work yourself into some mild cardio and the weight will keep on going down.

    And, if occasionally, your weight stalls or even goes up, chill. The body is not a worksheet.

    And don't forget to tell us all about your future progress.
    Born 1967. 6' 1". Male.

    Started Atkins 28th April, at 216 pounds. Met goal weight on 9th July, at 176 pounds. New goal is to become trimmer without losing weight.

      did u measure yourself?? sometimes you lose inches and not pounds..if you haven't you might wanna measure yourself now...its always reassuring when the scale don't budge!!

      p.s Congrats on the weight loss

        Thanks a lot for the replies, I will take the advice and apply it, will check up on the measuring too.
        I measures last Sunday so I'll see how it looks on Sunday and post an update.
