So I started induction my last week of classes, and here we are now in finals week- just wanted to share the foods I usually eat and see if anyone had any tips on what else I could be eating or what on here I should be avoiding:
Eggs or Egg Beaters
Mild block cheddar
Babybells
Salads with shredded cheddar, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, and some kind of protein on top
Tuna with mayo
Tea
Caffeine free, diet soda (I think I had 2 this week, 1 last week)
2-3L of H2O a day
Cheesburgers (no bun of course) with mayo
Tomatoes chopped up with 1-2oz cream cheese in chunks
Sugar free jello
Whipped cream (probably my biggest vice- I try to avoid it as much as possible, but I am still a weak soul on weekends and I like it in my tea)
Roast beef slices (luncheon meat) with american slices, rolled up
Hard boiled eggs
Pre-made bacon (not sure if this is ok, don't eat much anyway)
I also had KFC grilled chicken this weekend, I love the stuff but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be ok for induction?
Also, are protein bars or whey protein okay as snacks and shakes respectively?
Does anyone use Calorie-countdown milk on induction? Haven't tried it yet, not sure if it's okay.
So yeah, those are my staples
Any ideas for fun recipes to try this weekend when I go home and can cook for myself again (where can I find this 'induction pizza' recipe)??? Thanks!
