That is what I experienced too, in the first week or so. I personally thought it had to do with my body reacting to the amound of fat I was eating. After eating low fat for the last 20+ years , I think that my body didn't know how to react to the good fats it was getting
The water, too, gets better as your body adjusts to getting enough water. Most non-adkiners don't drink nearly enough water. I know I never did before this WOE. I was so discouraged the first week, having to get out of my nice, warm, cozy bed to go into our cold bathroom - 3 or 4 times a night - at first I didn't know if I could stick with it. It reminded me of when I used to get up with my babies (now in colege
I drink 120 to 130 oz of water most days and as long as I limit my water an hour or two before I go to bed, I'm now only up once .
Stick with it. It really is worth it.
