    Re: Protein Shake Question

If you are seriously even looking at shakes for emergency purposes, look at Jay Robb's Egg White protein powder. It's more spendy, but you can actually read and spell all six or so ingredients.

But are all the ingredients 'legal' for your Atkins phase? that is the clincher, not just the nutrition information.

Also it is quite high in protein. Remember, Atkins is a high fat/medium protein/low carb way of eating, and Dr Atkins told us that excess protein can be converted to glucose!!

So you might need to add some fat to any high protein food to balance your menus.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

wrong label to check for sugar. look for sugars in the ingredients lists cause the sugars in the nutritional label can be the natural ones like in our inductionlegal veggies.

the problem with using it for atkins is it has only 3 grams of fat while it has 17 grams of protein. if you added a healthy amount of fat to it you could use it as an energency meal.
