    Omg.. thank you so much for the positive feedback. So to let you guys know what's going on... I'm reading, and I TOTALLY did not start right. I don't even think my body went into complete ketosis. Now I feel stupid. So, my next question is, should I start the CORRECT form of induction tomorrow, or wait until after the superbowl when I'm not so tempted? I realize now that little things here and there are definitely not allowed, and the little things I thought I could do kept me from going into ketosis.

      Glad you're reading... and glad you realize that you were not following the plan correctly. Now you should know what changes need to be made.

      There'll be many Superbowls, Valentine's Days, etc. in your life. The best thing to do is learn to enjoy these days without carby food.

      Did you check Cleo's recipes for Superbowl ideas?

        I haven't checked yet for those recipes, but good idea. I can't start today.. I've already had bad.. I had a tortilla shell... it was 26g.. which I know isn't allowed, but I also knew at the time that I screwed up.. so (hanging head) I justified having it by knowing I already wasn't doing it right... on the plus side, I haven't gotten my powerade.. I've been on water all morning..

          I agree - if you count up all of the holidays, birthday parties, events like superbowl...etc, there are too many events for there ever to be a "good" or "bad" time to start. Start now I know you can do this!!!

                  You've only had one meal. That doesn't "ruin" a whole day.

                  You can have 3 (or more) "bad" meals today... or you can have one. You know what's the better choice.

                      yep practice carb harm intervention and make the very next bite low carb induction legal.
                      Cleo has a zuchinni nacho chip that looks and crunches just like doritoes except it doesn't have fake cheese power on it cause we Atkins folk use real cheese.

                        The actual/read induction has started. The good thing is that I don't have the cravings or the hunger. I was seriously questioning whether or not I was in ketosis, because it didn't seem like it. BTW - Are those stix accurate? I'm definitely going to try the chip

                          They are accurate... but not reliable. You can be in ketosis without changing the color the sticks, or you might change the color, but do the plan completely wrong.

                          Better just focus on following Atkins correctly.

                            Oh I am. Trust me. I'm mad I did what I did for 2 weeks and wasn't even doing it right. lol My own fault for not reading the literature first though. A friend that has done the diet (the right way) mentioned them, so I was curious.
