Hi:
I visited the supermarket and went to the diet section. I found a box of Atkins bars. The box says that the product is okay for all phases of the Atkins diet. However, I read the ingredients to be certain and there was a potent poison!!! Tapioca STARCH!
I then immediately put the box down without giving a second look.
If the product is okay for induction, then why the @!#%$ does it contain tapioca starch?? Why does it contain any starch?
Lucky for me, I go through the ingredients of anything I buy just to make sure.
My suggestion is to stay away from these bars. They may be tempting. They may appear to be Atkins-friendly, however, they are as toxic as simple sugars. So steer clear!

Well done for reading the list of ingredients rather than just the other stuff
