I lasted 3 days and totally blew my induction right out the window.
After feeling disappointed, I think I shall review what I did wrong and I would like some feedback from Atkins veterans.
My first excuse is that, ahem, on day 3 I started "that time of the month" and for the women on here I hope you can at least shed a tiny bit of sympathy! I was a crabby bitchy mess and my hormones were screaming for chocolate! I guess because that is how I responded to those hormones my whole life instead of reading it as a carb craving.

I know there is a separate thread for review of menus, but I would like to put my Day 1 menu on here and I will point out what I think may have been mistakes, and I really would love some feedback and advice as I plan on cleaning up my act a bit and starting a fresh "clean" induction as you all call it. Anywho, down to business:
Day 1 menu
----------------
Breakfast : 2 hard boiled eggs w/ 1 pat butter each, 4 slices (uncured) bacon, 1 cup coffee w/ 3 tbsp cream
Lunch: 1 can drained tuna mixed w 2 tbsp mayonaise (NOT Miracle Whip), 1 cup raw veggies (cucumber slices + yellow pepper strips) w/ 2 Tbsp garlic cream cheese
Snack: 1 Atkins Advantage bar (the one that CLAIMS it's safe to eat on phase 1) 2 ounces hard chees (cheddar + mozza)
Dinner: 4 bacon-wrapped scallops, 1 italian sausage, 1 cup sauteed broccoli w/ 1 tbsp olive oil.
Lots of water during the day (8 or 9 cups)
30 mins mini trampolining + weight lifting.
Some of the mistakes I may have made are having a few of those bars, eating too much onion, and having 1-2 cups of caffeine each day. Plus maybe too much bacon?
I am a SUGAR FEENE!!! If I was doing 3 days of induction properly, I should have felt the effects of the induction flu, but I felt NOTHING. Maybe I wasn't doing it clean enough? Any thoughts on how to clean it up a bit and start fresh? Perhaps stay away from the bars and the caffeine and onions? Advice s'il vous plait!
