why don i lose any weight?

  • why don i lose any weight?

    maybe that is not completely true i have lost a tiny tiny bit of weight but hardly anything and been on this diet now for 3 weeks i think or more.

    i eat cucumber and tomatos [within my limits] and celery sticks or mushrooms. i eat fat and eggs and meat no no things AT ALL! not even milk nothing.
    why can i not lose weight quicker? last time i did the diet i hardly ate any carbs and i lost more weight quicker.
    shall i reduce my carb intake or could it be something else?

    by the way i do drink decaf tea maybe 3 to 4 cups a day

    How much is a "tiny tiny bit"? How much did you lose each week?

    why can i not lose weight quicker?
    Why do you think you should lose weight faster?

    Your body is not a machine that sheds 1/2 lb (or whatever) every day. It loses at it's own pace. This pace will depend on age, metabolism, activity level, etc. And if you've subjected your body to drastic dieting over the years, then you have probably slowed down your metabolism.

    You need to be patient. It's not a race and you shouldn't have a deadline for reaching your goals.

    But you didn't maintain your weight once at goal, did you?

    And is eating "hardly any carbs" healthy, in your opinion?

    shall i reduce my carb intake or could it be something else?
    Can you share the link to your FitDay here? I don't know what your carb intake is now.

    In my opinion, you should move to OWL and add more nutritious vegetables. Many people find that the extra nutrients speed up their weight loss.

    How much water do you drink? Tea doesn't count as water.

      Are you exercising as well? This could help your weight loss




      HW-162/SW-152/CW-140/GW-130...and than some later if needed!

      First goal met 10lbs down
      now on for the next 10

        i drink lots more water than i used to. maybe about 2 pints a day. sometimes a little more when i exercise.

        no that strue i didnt maintain it guess i gott abe patient buts its so hard when i see all this fat

        oh no! i dont want to move on to the next stage yet!

          yes i use an airwalker every second day for an hour but havent used it now for three days. i also take my dogs for a walk

            That's only 1/2 the MINIMUM required on Atkins. As you know from your reading of DANDR, the MINIMUM is 64 ounces ... and drinking 1/2 your current body weight in water is good.

            Tea has carbs ... 0.7 per 8 ounces.
