  • Flaxseed

    Okay so i have been taking flaxseed (1 tablespoon) to help me out with constipation. i make flaxseed muffins and have been doing tgat for about a week. Can there be any side effects to this like gaining some weight? Or anything like that

    Is it ground flaxseed?

    Some people don't tolerate it at all.

      As I wrote in your other thread, flax meal can cause water retention as it moves through you. That's because it's rich in soluble fiber.

      You could also have an intolerance to it.

      How much flax did you have each day?

      Did it solve your constipation problem?

        no its regular flax seed but i grind them to make the muffins

        can water retention cause in an increase of your measurements as well? or just weight?

        i would have 1 tablespoon a day
        & yes it has solved the problem but i still need to test it out to see if it works efficiently .
