    How about:

    -Water with lemon/lime or cucumbers
    -Club soda/sparkling water (or ever regular water) with a dash of Davinci's SF syrup (I've tried both raspberry & vanilla)... Not my favorite but not bad...
    -Club soda/sparkling water mixed with 1/2 tea (I tried peppermint, tazo orange, tazo passion fruit, and blueberry.. they were all pretty good)

    I'm not a water purist so I drink a lot of tea and count it as my water intake....

      Dr. Atkins is quite clear that only water is water.

      The end of chapter 12 is quite clear that coffee, tea, diet soda, etc. do NOT count as water.

      So while YOU may count it as water, it's not water for the purposes of Atkins.

          Yes, I know YOU'RE not, however, Dr. Atkins was ... and if you want to "do" Atkins ... it's best to follow the guidelines in HIS book ... if you want to do the "Lea_702" plan, that's up to you.

          Atkins calls for a MINIMUM of 64 ounces of WATER a day.

            Add some lemon to your water! I have always been a big water drinker so it didn't affect me that much, but I know for some who like to drink coke and sprite etc. Its a major change! Stick with it and you'll love how your body starts to feel in the next couple of days Btw you look very pretty in your picture, you don't have a whole lot to lose....if you do this water thing, trust me you will love the benefits!!

              um... I don't get why you have to be so rude....

              Yes, if people want to follow it by the book they should drink just plain water.... I don't... who cares. I just made a comment, not saying that person should do it.

                That's right. The OP should not do like you if she wants to follow Atkins 2002 correctly.

                  Thank you everyone for all the good advice and hint and tips And thanks Lea Im not a water purist either, and Ive come to the conclusion that I cant drink just water anyway as it still tastes so bad even with a filter, so I will put lemon in .. or lime... or cucumber, which I have heard from someone else on this site who says its fine too It cant be worse than what im drinking the moment, Tescos own sparkling water with a MASSIVE hint of 2% grape juice in it...what a devil i feel...:P and still losing quite enough weight, well for me its working anyway, I cant say it would work for everyone becuase we are all different, but im always up for trying most things
