  • Back on the saddle again

Hi Everyone, Norman here. About 2 months ago, I started seeing a distortion in my right eye. It turned out to be a detached retina. I couldn't work out for 2 months and also, I threw in the towel with the diet. My weight has ballooned up to 210 lb.

I got the go ahead from the Dr. to start working out. Bought Atkins friendly foods and planned to start today. Again, fate has a hand in my goals. Saturday I tripped over something. I do not know what it was. Woke up in the ER with 8 stitches under my good eye. The shiner of all mothers! MRI's suggests that my brain is okay (brain, remind you all, not necessarily mind). Tomorrow I visit the hospital again but I'm sure the laceration is not infected. I've been taking serious care of it. The ER Dr. told me it was okay to work out, but I'll ask tomorrow a second opinion.

Well, either way, I started the Atkins way again. Maybe I'll go for a walk tonight when the sun sets a little. I do not want the eventual scar to darken.

Well, as Arnold would say: "I'm Back."

          Norman!!! You're back!!!

Yikes on the detached retina. About the other injury...please stop falling down and hurting yourself. If you read your DANDR, you will see that is not allowed in any of the phases.

Great to see your pixels again and hope you're feeling up to par soon so you can get back to working out.

Thank you, if I helped in anyway, that is a true blessing for my soul. Thank you very much and a 100 lb loss is quite impressing.

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
