    Re: Re-Induction for me

    Sherry,

Great job! What an awesome start. I hope to do so well. I started induction (re-started) on 4/3 so today is day 9. I haven't weighed since day 5 when I had already lost 5lbs! I vow not to weigh again until next Friday, day 14! It's hard to stay off the scale though when I am so excited about losing! However with TOM here I know its better to stay off until next week. I had my birthday on Friday and stayed totally on plan! Wahoo! I am proud of myself! I even had no problems staying on plan on Easter. I have still been running (just a little less until after induction) and I am feeling GREAT! I am planning to run 2-4 miles today sometime - hopefully when this wind dies down and my allergy medicine kicks in lol.

Thanks for posting your progress - very inspirational!

        Re: Re-Induction for me

Thanks Elizellen, Farley, Crazziecat, Michelle and Maddy!!!

Farls, thanks for the info...I think I am going to stick with Extended Induction until end of May. Like you said, I am one that has more to lose and this is the best bet for me right now. Thanks again!

Michelle, awesome job to you too. I can't wait until the day I can just run, let alone 2-4 miles

Maddy, so sorry you gave up, but guess what, just get back on it tomorrow! You have to do what I did, actually think about it and make that final decision that you are worth it!!! I cannot wait to get this weight off FOR GOOD!

        Thanks again everyone!!!

AS Sherri said, nothing to stop you getting right back on the Atkins path

Can you work out why you chose to give up? Knowing why/when/what/where/with whom made you decide to stop might help you work out a strategy for staying on plan next time.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
