Re: 3rd day
If you want on the go snacks, pre cook up a bunch of stuff one or two times a week. Cut up cheese into one ounce pieces, hard boil eggs, cook up steak and chicken breasts and cut into fingers and cook up turkey or burger patties. Any of those taste great cold or barely warmed and can be eaten on the run and although you have to peel the eggs they are still great and you can actually prepeel a few for the week.
The low carb bars are deadly to me. Several years ago, when the low carb fad was big, I had been on low carb on and off for a while at that point and those bars were tempting. I got several flavors thinking, oh they will make good on the go snacks, and I ate them until they were gone, no kidding !!
I will not buy them ever again , I am too much a carb addict and they are too much like a cookie or candy !! Knocked me off plan and it took a long time to get back on.
The premade shakes do not have that effect on me, a four pack can last me weeks, but your milage may vary so you have to see how you react but they are not recommended on induction as mentioned before but I would be careful even after induction if they turn out to be a trigger for you as well.
It really is easy to have quick stuff to eat and the secret to not falling off plan is to be prepared and cooking ahead fills both needs for snacks to go and meals. It is the only way for me to be succesful , to precook up a bunch of stuff for the week so I have no excuses !!
Happy low carbing !!
