  • Hello!......again

Ok, Ive been here a million times. Start the day good, start feeling TERRIBLE withdrawls and binge, rinse and repeat. Day after day this goes on. Stress is always my excuse. BUT, I dont wanna be an excuse. So after ignoring my craving, and withdrawl symptoms, I have been sticking to my guns Let me tell ya, this is intense!! Im not doing much right now because of a back injury, but as soon as I can exercise Im gonna do whatever I can.

Drink plenty of water and rest if you need it. I started again for the 2nd time last week and the induction flu was 3 times as bad this time. After the first couple of days you will find the cravings go away. I still get an occasional craving, especially right now since Uncle TOM and Aunt FLO are in town, but I just have a cup of hot tea with cream and a packet of Truvia or liquid Splenda. If I can do this, so can you! Just keep on keepin' on!
I WILL learn to feel comfortable in my own body again!

I would suggest planning your menus for a few days at a time. Know what you will eat each day and follow the plan. Don't even allow yourself the possibility to eat something off plan.

Plan in such a way that you always have Atkins-friendly food available (for e.g., freeze meals, keep some deviled eggs in the fridge), and make sure you eat enough calories and vegetables.

Also eat enough fat and drink plenty of water... it's easy to mistake thirst for hunger.
