The majority of your carbs are to be from the veggies you eat. So, like exercise, eating vegetables is non-negotiable on the Atkins Diet.

Re: Eggs and Bacon
Hey SarcaztikCommentz!
You do need to eat at least 20 grams of carbohydrates per day during Induction. Moochiecat is right...you need to get a copy of the book (2000 edition) and read it. Otherwise this will end up like another diet for you.I was wondering, did u have to intake, salads and other veggies during Induction, or can you just eat eggs and bacon, and meat the whole time?
If you're not able to get the book right away then visit the website and read the section on How to do Induction.
Welcome!
Be well-

Sounds like you're doing the media version of Atkins ... you know, just MEAT..............
Its a four step program:
Read the book, re-read it, shop by it, live by it.
Four phases: Induction, Ongoing weight loss, pre-maintenance, lifetime maintenance. Don't cheat yourself or the plan by doing it any other way.
YOU CAN DO IT!
