    HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

    Looooooooong time lurker-- hello everybody!!!

Does anybody here please know a good induction safe beef jerky recipe? I did a search and was surprised at how little info there is out there on this. I normally make the Soy/Worcestershire sauce type, but that's not allowed - from what I understand.

Does anybody out here have a good tasting beef jerky recipe I can use? I would experiment, but I'm afraid I'll use ingredients that don't cure the meat properly, thus making it unsafe to eat. Any help would be TREMENDOUSLY appreciated. I love beef jerky and have 10 lbs of meat that I need to preserve. Thanks everybody.

Here is the result of a google search for jerky low carb recipes
    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...b+recipes&meta=
Not all say whether they are for induction or the later phases, but a scan of the ingredients comparing them with the allowed list should help you decide which to use
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Thanks for the link, but I spent a couple of hours looking through all those low carb sites, googling all sorts of combinations. Unfortunately the majority mention the soy/worcestershire sauce base. Not one that I've found is induction safe (check that, I found a couple, but, due to the ingredients listed, they can't possibly be good). I was hoping there'd be someone on here that had a good recipe that followed strict induction guidelines.

        hi there,

my husband makes beef jerky in his dehydrator. He used ground turkey and then added liquid smoke, worshichestershire(?) and that was all- he couldn't believe that it wasn't made with the packet he made his with. I will double check on the ingredients and make sure that is all he used. It was so good and simple. I'm sure you could add a little teriyaki if you like it.

I love jerky made w/ worcestershire.. sooo tasty-- but that sauce has molasses, corn syrup, etc... I'm trying to do a clean induction... no soy sauce, and no worcestershire..
