Windsor Pilates....omg that lady is brutal!! It was over quick though. I was like ok....that's it. Of course this is after i couldnt move my leg. Some of the stuff in the ab work out i had to modify. I tried my best but i guess i'm not as limber as some of those folks on that DVD..not to mention i got about 40 or so lbs on some of them!

Yeah I hear ya! I have to do the modified too like I am 60 or something, but that is okay. I like the way it is only 20 min. I haven't gotten into the advanced one yet. Good luck- I did my cardio this morning (2 miles on elliptical) so I think i will do the pilates tonight. I might have to write ya back and moan about being sore tomorrow- lol

I use an awesome Pilates tape made by Crunch called "Fat Burning Pilates" it's aerobics and standing Pilates moves followed by matwork- it's awesome! I've been doing it for about a month and I can *really* tell a difference in my rear end and my thighs, that's where I've always carried the most weight, definite tightening and less cellulite!! yay!

I have the entire set of Pilates....... I used to use it until I moved into an apartment waiting for my house to be built, which will be next month. I will finally have ROOM to be able to roll around in a ball and whatnot again. For the time I used it, I LOVED IT!!! Plus its quick, yah may be a lil tough, but stick with it and you'll be leading her in no time

Pilates rules for the abdominals, doesn't it? It's great! I've been doing it faithfully, 3 mornings a week, since April 2003. For the first few months, I started out with the 20-minute Intermediate level of Pilates For Dummies. Then about two years ago, I switched over to Winsor Pilates, and have been doing the 20-minute Ab Sculpting DVD ever since (see below for visual). Since I do full-body resistance training 3x/week and cardio 4x/week, abs are all I need to engage for Pilates work. But I know it's incredibly thorough, as the entire torso is given a workout, and the effect is considerably more attractive and feminine than the effect from crunches for the abdominals - I've never done those and never will.

You absolutely must have enough room, I remember when i first did them, i was rolling around in a ball, and smacked my head on the coffee table too.... And I yelled for my husband to move the thing...... Kinda got the same response from him, except he said if I really wanted to exercise Id move it myself lol

You know, I'd probally be interested in Pilates, and would probally ad them to my exercise regime....

But I just can't get over the name....If someone asks me what I do for exercise, I can't imagine myself saying, "pilates, Its so good for my thighs" lol...
