I went out with a couple of friends a few days ago, and was looking for a low carb snack to eat on the go. So i went to this health shop and picked up a low carb chocolate bar that listed 3 carbs on the packet. Then when i actually checked the nutritional list the bar contained 21.9 grams of carbs of which 16 grams were sugar. I was mortified!
I mean i was so close to totally screwing myself, can the food industry do this, it was blatant mis-labelling.
I thought it might apply to if you had like 100 grams of the chocolate bar but sure as sugar when i checked it was for that individual bar.
