  • How often do you weigh yourself?

    For me, it helps keep me on track. I've been afraid to look at the scale because of my eating to much cheese ( SQUEE! ) in the past few days...weighed myself this morning and I gained 2 pounds . It may also be water retention, so I'm ditching the salty pork rinds...and strictly limiting my cheese intake.

    How often do you all weigh yourself...every day, or every week?

    I weigh daily and like having the knowledge that my weight can vary for no apparent reason or maybe I should watch the carb creep....intersting fact that when I was off plan I would not weigh so i didn't have to face up to that damage that I was doing...daily weighing keeps me on the straight n narrow

      Exactly. I weigh myself every morning before getting dressed. It seems to make me more accountable for my actions during the day knowing that I want that scale to be lower the next morning. So far so good. I don't think I will get discouraged if it goes up a little cause I know our bodies fluctuate and that there will be times when it will go up. Like today I am soooo bloated, I had a hysterectomy a few years ago but still get TOM symptoms like everyone else does. Bloating, Irritable, weight gain, and also hot flashes.

          Pork rinds are limited to 1 cup, but watch out because they are very high in sodium. I can't eat them, they cause me to stall and I always want to eat the whole bag!
          Oh, and I weigh once a week. I used to weigh everyday but it was driving me crazy, I get too obsessed with it.
          What would we do without it?

              I weigh every day, first thing in the morning (nude and after that morning pee-LOL). I have to admit, I some times weigh up to 3-4 times a day. I'm obessed with the scale! I don't freak out seeing it fluctuate, I just have to know.

                I do it everyday too unless it's that T-O-M...then I go a week...which kills me...hate hate hate TOM not FAIR!! lol, tantrum over....

                    I weigh myself once a week. Every Sunday morning. I like to see the scale actually move. That is what keeps me motivated.

                        Some of my weight gain must have been from the all that sodium...today I am 168.2, down from 169 yesterday. I cut my down cheese intake quite a bit too.


                        One more thing, it's that ever-fun TOM so maybe there's water retention.
