Re: chile relleno casserole
I make the jalapeno poppers a LOT. I do it with 1/2 cheddar and 1/2 cream cheese stuff the peppers, bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. I don't like the bacon on it that some people do, that's a personal pref though.... I feel like the bacon makes it too greasy!
I make my chile relleno recipe with this recipe:
YUM YUM YUM! Delicioso! It is quite spicy with 2 cans, sometimes I use only 1 can of the chiles!

Re: chile relleno casserole
I make stuffed peppers
i just cut the top off, stuff them and pop them in the oven. they're easy to stuff when they're raw.
for the stuffing i mix browned ground beef, some raw eggs, tomato sauce, spices, and gound cheese.
it all melts and cooks together in the oven.
and it's great for the freezer, so when i find cheap peppers, I go all out!
