  • Do i do the extended induction, what do you think?

    Hi there everyone!

I am pretty new to all this.
I am currently on the 14 day Induction and feeling geat:1 week in.

I have not weighed myself yet, waiting until day 15!
My problem is;i have not been strictly counting the carbs althought i intend to start, and write everything down.

Because i missed conting carbs, does anyone think i should do the extended Induction and count carbs to make up for the first week, or is this stupid??

Any help on this or any advice about Extended Induction will be very much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Daniellexx

Re: Do i do the extended induction, what do you think?

I think it might be wise. I'm on Extended Induction right now for a couple of readson. First, I cheated at the end of Induction and so I felt I needed to continue Induction for my stupidity. Second, I have a lot of weight to lose so I felt it might be wise to stay on Induction a little longer and then move on. I'm going to decided whether or not to stay on Extended Induction at the end of it.

I think since you may not have been as strict as you should have (you don't know how many carbs you were consuming right?) Extended Induction might be a good idea. I'm not an expert though.

      Thanks for that Irishmom!
Yes, i think it will be good to do the extended Induction because it gives me a chance to start a fresh and count every single carb, maybe that way i will lose more weight!!(hoping) lol..
Good luck with your weight loss.

How much weight are you hoping to lose in total Danielle?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

In that case, extending your induction might well be counterproductive as you are not metabolically resistant to weightloss (going by your results so far) nor do you have a large amount of weight to lose.

I think you would be better advised to move to OWL after your first 14 days on induction.

Yes i think you are right, i have had no problem losing so i should move on.

I agree with Elizellen You'll do beautifully passing through all phases of this WOE. With 15 pounds to go I would definitely move to OWL so you can go through all the phases.

Re: Do i do the extended induction, what do you think?

I agree with Elizellen. I didn't realize you didn't have a large amount of weight to lose. If you had a lot of weight to lose then I would suggest extended induction (I have to lose close to 80 which is why I'm still in Induction).

Since 15 isn't a lot it would be best for you to move on to the next level and start working on figuring out your ccl! Good luck!

                    Hi there.
Yes i have decided now to move onto OWL after the Induction.
That large chunck of 6 1/2 lbs was really good to go, just hope the rest will not be to difficult, never got it off before.
It must be a long journey for people that's got lots to lose and here is me complaining about 15lbs.....does not seem right.

                    All the best
