Nice thread topic... I hope it helps others!

Those are excellent tips. I especially like the the water and carbs by 3 pm suggestions.

Mini meals, drink your water even if your eyes are floating. Water has been a huge factor with me. Drinking enough of any kind of drink is, I get so busy I dont stop to hydrate myself. Also make sure you do eat every 5-6 hours something. Even if its something little.

I agree with not eating really late in the day.

Im a daily scale user. My Dh on the other hand weighs maybe once a month (He's on Atkins too). Pro- helps me stay focus. That number looking back is great encouragement to hang with it. Con: Scales go Up and down, depending on a lot of factors.

I would also measure it with a measuring spoon because its easy to get way too much and for me, too much cream makes me gain weight! Hope that helps
I thought if it was below 0.5 they could say 0 carb. Maybe the labelling is different in different countries? I am in Canada. I really should check that out.

Calories: If a food item has 50 calories or less per serving, the amount shown on the label is rounded to the nearest 5 calories. If a food item has more than 50 calories per serving, the value shown on the label is rounded to the nearest 10 calories. Therefore if a food item has 47 calories, it will be labeled as 45 calories; and if a food item is 84 calories it will be labeled as 80 calories.
Total Fat: If a food item has less than 0.5 grams of total fat per serving, the label will show total fat grams as 0. If the total fat content is 0.5 to 5 grams, the label will show the total fat value rounded to the nearest 1/2 gram. If the food item is above 5 grams; the label will show the total fat value rounded to the nearest gram.

Re: Things you've discovered which helped you lose Fat faster!

I thought of something that really helps me to not cheat on atkins. I use a monthly wall calender to list down school events and appts, so I started writing A1, A2, etc each day I go cheat free. Getting to write that number each day I feel like I have accomplished something.
Cheesey perhaps but it helps moi.
