I am on extended induction.
I lost 11 pounds so far and am on day 15. During the 2 weeks Aunt “Flo” was in town which I think makes a difference as well, but I didn’t gain anything.
Anyway here is my question. Two days ago I went over my carbs limit. I had a sort of a meatloaf thing that I thought would be fine, but it had tomato paste in it…and well I went over the carbs. BUT I stayed in ketosis. Went right back to meat, eggs, cheese and salad the next day BUT have started dropping out of ketosis. This morning, despite sticking to induction perfectly and drinking 3 litres of water, I have come completely OUT of ketosis. Only barely a trace after having two weeks of dark purple.
So does it take a while for the carb thing to register? Is my trace today because my carb overage two days ago? Or is something else up?
