    Yesterday.....

    3 eggs

    steakums-0 carbs with mozz cheese

    ribeye steak

to tell you the truth that is pretty much an average day for me I just dont get it..

or my day will consist of 3 eggs with american cheese

a salad with blue cheese dressing

I didn't see a vegetable in your yesterday food list. You also didn't post anything about exercise. As far as your sticks not turning as quickly as they used to, I have no idea what that means. The keto sticks I use give you fifteen seconds after use to read them. Letting them go longer than 15 seconds doesn't give you an accurate measure. Read the instructions on your jar. You also might not be getting enough calories. That looks like a skimpy food plan for a grown man. You also might want to split that food up into more meals. You shouldn't be going more than two hours without eating something. I try to eat every two hours between 6am and 6pm.

Re: Third week (Extended Induction) and....

      Hey...
I think too, that you are not eating enough. anything less than 600 calories will get you into starvation mode..your body will simply start not to lose weight. Eat mayo, some veggies, mushrooms would be good, and more meat.. Also eat 3 or more meals in a day.. If you stop eating throughout the day, your body drops its metabolism, because it actually get the signal that "No Food!! warning! keep your weight steady"...
Thing is when you eat regularly, you actually feed your body, and because the total calories are less than usual, then it starts to eat fat in order to compensate for the loss of calories..
Eating is the way to go..
Keto sticks not reacting means one thing.. Less ketones in the urine..so that means that the fat-eating mechanism has slowed down..

I'm pretty certain I know what the problem is. I'm not getting enough calories overall especially considering the amount of cardio and weight lifting I'm doing. I really do try to just eat when I'm hungry and then just enough until I feel satisfied. I don't have a lot of variety. Wish I could afford steaks!! I'll go through a small roast through the week, cucumbers, salad, broccoli, eggs, bacon, hamburgers, sour cream, butter and tuna. Those are the Atkins pickins of a poor girl! Every day I try to eat egg salad or tuna with mayo. I've always found I lose the most weight when I up the fat! Many times lately though, I have found myself so SICK of shoveling more mayo in my mouth. Tuna is a particular favorite because it's so shredded I can just shovel it in quickly and not chew up the nasty mayo! Another downfall, haven't gotten on fitday yet...not excited about all that measuring. I really thought as long as I was getting well over 1,000 calories with all the exercise I'd be dropping it quickly. However, I must say I can feel muscles coming back to life in my back and muscles in my thighs and quads and it's been so long....I forgot they were there and had potential!! I will try to up my calories and then maybe tweak my carbs. I think the problem lies in the calorie intake. Thanks for the recommendations everyone....I will let you know!

Way to go figuring it out. Too many makes this mistake. They try to do both low calorie and Atkins at the same time thinking that if they double the efforts they'll get double results. But it does not work like that. You need that fat to get rid of the fat.
Another good way to eat fat is to eat it with your veggies. I like to sautee mine in olive oil.
I hear you on the cash crunch issue. Look for sales and bargains. And if you have a freezer buy in bulk. That helps.
