    Ketosis and TOM

    Hi everyone,
I am in week 4 of Atkins ( again...) and have been great till yesterday. I have not cheated and am still eating clean but I am not showing in ketosis anymore. Can TOM hormones do that? I am expecting "her" visit any day now.

    Thanks
    Amy

    Re: Ketosis and TOM

I have seen elsewhere posts that say that the ketosticks will not register properly at that time, so not to bother with them then.

Dr Atkins made only one mention of how that 'Time of the Month' might affect us when doing induction
If you start Induction before or during a menstrual period, it may take longer for weight loss to register.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

sometimes there is a nice surprise at the end of a TOM. if you are eating the right stuff, just have faith and know that it's working, and wait for the magic.

I always try to drink extra water during my period = it seems to help with bloating and water retention.
