  • Decided to stick with induction for at least another 2 weeks

This past Saturday marked the end of my first two weeks of induction. I couldn't be more pleased with the results so far. As of Saturday I had lost nearly 11 lbs. I can see noticeable results, especially in my face, and I've lost an inch and a half in my waist alone. With that being said, I still have a significant amount of weight to lose to reach my goal, and according to Dr. Atkins I could definitely benefit from an extended induction. For now I figure I will re-evaluate every 2 weeks to check my progress. I don't find induction all that difficult, but I must admit I can't wait for the day when I can add carrots, corn and macadamia nuts back into my diet! Happy low carbing all!

Hey Ryan, fellow CCer! Congratulations - 11 pounds gone - woo hoo! You have done a great job so far and I know you'll continue to succeed. In a couple months you'll look back at how quickly the time went by and how much progress you've made.

Keep it up! You can do it !

Ryan, that is a fantastic on your weight loss! I decided to stay on extended induction as well. Why change a good thing I figure with having a significant amount of weight to lose, sticking with induction sounds like the way to go.
