  • Chicken Nuggets?

Can you buy chicken nuggets that arent breaded anywhere? I would love to have some, bread them with parmesean cheese and throw them in the fryer. Ive never seen them sold without breading, although I havent looked too hard....

Just buy some fresh chicken breasts.
Let it in milk for a couple of hours. Remove and cut it like nuggets and then bread them in beaten egg + parmesan cheese.

I hate cooking though, I wish I could just buy them pre made for cooking....

I have not found chicken nuggets without breading, but I do buy chicken strips at Sam's Club without breading, and then often just fry them without any coating at all. I like to make low-carb honey mustard dressign to dip them in.

          Uh...this is cooking!
The only difference is that you'd have to cut up the chicken breasts instead of buying them pre-cut!

          Give it a try.

Very quick and easy to do, but milk is not for induction.

I would imagine that half 1/2 n 1/2 and half water would work just as well.

or half cream and half water?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

You don´t drink the milk. You just soak them.

still counts because the milk will soak and cling to the chicken

i think you'd probably not be able to get chicken nuggets that aren't fried, w/bread, or anything. Just probably have to cook them. I'm no cook myself but you have to survive somehow. :yes

I cut up boneless and skinless chicken and coat it with some Ranch Dressing and then sprinkle Parmesan cheese and bake them. Also, sometimes my market has the chicken all pre-cut in strips. It's usually with other meats cut up for stir-fry. Yummy!

Here is one but it is NOT AT ALL SUITABLE for Atkins at all - well maybe occasionally when you have reached goal I suppose.

                              5 tablespoons medium body honey
                              3 tablespoons smooth Dijon mustard
                              2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Serve as a dressing or a dip
                              .

You might be able to get something similar tasting by substituting splenda liquid or stevia for the honey but it probably wouldn't be the right consistency.

BUT you are only allowed 3 servings of acceptable sweetener a day on any stage of Atkins so would have to stick with a TINY portion of this recipe!! I don't think I would have the portion control :yikes so I wouldn't risk it.
