    Also depends on where you carry your weight.. I have lost a good deal of weight and if it weren't for so much lose skin around my abdomen, I know I could go down atleast one more size.

      I've found for me that it is 10 pounds to the inch. When getting
      pants/belts, it has been a reliable guide.

        I carry all my weight in my mid section. No hips or butt to speak of.

        I'm 5'8 and 10 pounds will drop me as much as two dress sizes. For example I had just gained 8 pounds before I got back on Atkins seriously--I went up from size 6 to size 8. Ten will get me back in that six with some room. Twenty pounds would get me down to a 4 easily if not smaller.

        It all depends on the person. There are people I know who LOOK way smaller than me who wear a larger size and vice versa.

          Another interesting case study in sizes today at work.

          Three women..one 5'3....one 5'8 (myself) and two others 5'6...we all wear between a size 6 or 8 and sometimes 10.

          Completely different body types--- two pears and two apples. Funny isn't it?
