I am active, I walk 1/2 mile every day just to get to my office plus the 30 minute a day air walker workout. I am always up and down the stairs at my home. Still the scale remains still... :no
Sweety it may just not be enough. When I walk I am walking about 4-6 miles a day. Are you walking briskly? Are you walking at 60-70% of your maximum heart rate? Do you have a pedometer? If you don't I recommend getting one. In order to lose weight they say you need to walk at least 12000 steps a day. On my cardio days I usually get in over 15000 just to be safe. Have you posted menus? Perhaps youare overeating something or eating hidden carbs. Up your water.
We have not stats on you, you should post those in your signature for better answers.

Thanks Iwillb :hug Ill ship her down there as soon as im done with her!
Just so everyone knows im not a lazy bum!! Maybe im retaining water because I did just start up softball again. Also SOFTBALL is part of my problem. I really pulled my quad to the point I limp when I walk right now. Thats why im not exercising alot because it hurts like heck!
Didnt wanna tell everyone and sound like a whiner, but I figured I whine about everything else, why not this too!! LOL
I have a ard time exercising also, I just don't have time or by the end of the day just too tired... I try to walk up the stairs at work but I don't know how effective that is.... Maybe you could try the same thing, sneak some eexercise in when you can...
Sneaking in exercise is good but you also need to really work a bit. Check out the exercise forum for some motivation and ideas.

I vought a heart rate monitor. THe strap goes aroung your chest then you wear the "watch" on your wrist that tells you your heart rate. I beeps at you when you go below or above 50% ( you can set the percentages I chose 50 ) of your target heart rate. Help keep me at pace.
Amy,
Go hang in the exercise forum. A lot of folks there can help you put your heart rate monitor to good use. BTW for maximum fat burning you want to be between 60-70% of your max HR

I know for a fact that she is not in North Iowa and has not been here for over a month I think now. I have been working my butt off (or trying to, it's still here) :yikes every day. I take very few days off of exercising, but Nope, :no no faerie. I miss her and would be more than happy to let her stay for a few days. :yes :yes :yes
