Those who exercise regularly and eat healthfully, as opposed to being naturally skinny, as part of their weight maintenance program are praised by their doctors for those behaviors and the resultant health.

AND THEY SHOULD BE PRAISED! Everyone who eats healthy and exercises deserves the credit .. THEY'VE EARNED IT!

Oh yes, of course... I'm with MommaGlass, I think everyone should be praised. I think everyone should be more positive in general.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

      Vigilance, not perfection.

People will look at the first person and think he's done so much but does he really deserve the praise? After all, he let himself get that heavy. I think that smaller healthy people sometimes don't get as much attention and it doesn't seem fair. Even on TV you'll see Oprah giving cars and vacations (or whatever) to people who have lost a lot of weight. How about rewarding people who have taken care of themselves the whole time?

I don't know why I'm bringing this up but it has been on my mind. I just guessed on which forum to put it in so feel free to move it.

I understand what you are saying, however, alot of times, people who "don't take care of themselves" may have underlying reasons for not doing so. The majority of morbidly obese people often suffer from both physical and mental illnesses that may prevent them from "taking care of themselves".
