I am thinking of moving up to the dairy rung soon. Can anyone recommend a 5 carb count yogurt that is tasty as well? I kind of miss having yogurt occasionally.
Thanks,
Kelly

I buy plain Astro high fat (5.9%) yogourt which is 5.7g carbs for 125g. I measure 100g. When I first reached the dairy rung I would add just a touch of Splenda and maybe some vanilla and cinnamon. Now that I'm eating berries, I'll add a few tablespoons of blueberries or whatever berries I have on hand. Works for me!

I buy Astro's Balkan Style Natural Yogurt. Its just over 5g per 125g serving, so I lower the serving size to about 100, which brings the carb count under 5g.
I had some of it this morning actually, with a dash of DaVinci's caramel syrup, a half ounce of almonds, and a tsp of unsweetened coconut. Yummy.

You can also make a half gallon of low carb yogurt following 2Big's recipe for it. Use the Carb down milk and a couple of tablespoons of plain yogurt.
I heat the carb down milk until it's just "baby bottle warm". Then I stir in a couple tablespoons of plain yogurt with live active cultures. Then I put the milk into a cooler with a few hot water bottles over night. In the morning, I have plain yogurt. It's not as sour as regular yogurt and it's about 3 carbs for 8 ounces.
you can flavor it with a DaVinci syrup if you want. I prefer it plain and I add a teaspoon of chopped nuts or wheat bran.
