I really screwed up today. I went out for a nice walk, with the intention of getting a nice low-carb friendly lunch. I've done Atkins before successfully, so I pretty much know what I can get away with eating and what I can't. I went to this wrap place, Boloco, down the street from my house and ordered a cajun chicken wrap with no rice, lite black beans, and no roasted pepper corn salsa. The girl seemed to understand the order well enough, but apparently I confused the **** out of her. I asked her to take $5 in cash and put the rest on my card (I'm in college, so I don't have lots of $$ right now). She said "OK" and proceeded to charge the whole thing to my card and then just stand there dumbfounded and ask me, "What did you want me to do with that $5 again? You want singles?" This wouldn't normally be a big deal, but I didn't have that much money in my account, and now I'm overdrafted, which will cost me a half hour trip to the bank.
In a blind rage (which I kept bottled up), I sat down and ate my wrap. A bite or two in, I notice a big chunk of rice in the middle, as well as the pepper/corn salsa. Of course, they wouldn't refund me my money, or even remake it. I had no money left, and no food in the house, so I just finished it.
I'm so @!#$%@$#! pissed right now. Partly at the girl at the counter, and partly at myself for being so upset with her over something so stupid and perfectly human. I'm planning on starting up again tomorrow. I figure I'll be OK with 72-96 hours of induction diet, don't you? Let me know what you think.
Cheers!

ah, the joys of EMS. It's also part of the reason I'm on Atkins and taking better care of myself. A lot of dept's around here don't really have fitness standards per se, but the work can be pretty intense. We'll see how it works out and I hope to get a gig in the fall. Take care and thanks for the advice, all. Much appreciated.
