I am increasing vegetables for the month of october, raising to 23-25g a day carbs.
However having some difficulty today, keeping a food log.
Peppers, I found conflicting info on their count, my book said 0.4 for 40g, then when checking the USDA it said a completly different figure.... checked about 7 sites and all completly different. Really dont know what to put now..
Also am I best to use total carbs, net carbs??..heh so confusing. I know here the total carbs listed should be the net carbs, However this dosent match up on the packets.
Also today have had cucumber, green beans and pepper, pretty much wipes out most of my carb allowance-- measured out 80g of the beans for 2.4 carbs and everything else again
Its such a small amount of veggies-- is this correct? Am really missing a normal bowl sized salad right now.
