lol, I have a container of miso in the frig too. Yummy stuff to have isn't it. I remember watching a vegetarian cooking show when I was in junior high (the woman was based in Hawaii) and one of the recipes was a salad dressing made with miso...

I loved the legumes rung too - but haven't really played with it much (excluding soy flour) til now. Been having sugar free baked beans.

              Do you know the song:

Beans, beans, are good for your heart!
The more you eat, the more you fart!
The more you fart, the better you feel,
So let's have beans for every meal!
Well I ain't even farting much more than normal!!!

LOL LOL it could be that that bacteria that was digesting the carbs in the beans we can't and making that gas has been killed off with all your low carb eating Loonatika.

Bean dip is good to and beans in the burritos are good to. Not to mention some beans in the chilli or suops now.

Ok then peanuts are not a good food for me to eat when I am starving...of course if I were being good I would NOT have been starving..yesterday I showered and jumped on the car to go shopping after 6 hours of heavy gardening with out having something to eat....and bought a bag of peanuts...(legume rung) well not only are they a totol trigger food (all I did was get more hungry after eating them and cravings got stronger!) but they totally hurt my tummy as well...so there you have it...I knew they would make me sick ...but I was hungry and needed something "legal" ....
the resolve for my mistakes as I see it

                      1. Plan and eat more food during the day instead of waiting until I am hungry tired and can not make a good choice!
                      2. Eat before I get in my car!
                      3. stop mid way during my work and eat something
                      4. avoid foods that make me feel sick sometimes hunger and tummy upset can be confusing!
                      5 drink more water

I realize that miso would have to be delayed until this rung, but isn't tofu induction-friendly (originally called soy cheese before they brought out cheese made of soy)?

Planning is probably the key to this wol. I know when I get done at work and get home, it's about 1-2pm and I'm starving for lunch. I eat a big breakfast now, but still after 3 hours or so of hard physical work my body wants food straight away.

I've just been making sure I have something already prepared or else something quick and easy to cook and eat like an omelete on hand.

It's the foods that make you sick that would drive me crazy nursie - mainly for me it's white flour and sugar so avoiding them is no big deal. But yeah, I still get some days during TOM when everything does it.

Yesterday I ate at very odd times, and when I went to Reserves last night - part way through I was really hungry.

I had somewhat prepared and taken a zip-lock bag with macademia nuts in it, and a water bottle, but it wasn't quite sufficient.

When I came home I knew I had to eat, even though I really didn't want to eat that close to heading to bed. It was a double-edged sword.

I opted for a few cubes of cheese and a slice of pork roast that was in the fridge. I just didn't have the ambition to cook something.

Definitely - planning is the key. Even if I had prepared ahead and boiled a few eggs to store in the fridge, it would have been a better solution to my "I need something fast" dilemma.

Ya know, eating close to bed has never been an issue with me on this wol. Before Atkins I used to sit in bed watching tv, and that's when I'd eat my chocolate and crisps. So the first few months on atkins were all about breaking that habit - but I did let myself eat some berries before bed, or even chicken wings but only if I was hungry.

I know there's some rule about not eating after 8pm or something, but I'd rather go to bed satisfied food wise than hungry, as I just find I wake up wanting even more food the next day if I don't.
