  • Another loss!!

    Hi there everyone!
    I am on my 7th week of Atkins. Starting OWL RUng 2 today.
    For the past 2 weeks, i have not weighed myself...today i did and i happy to say i have has another 2lb loss on OWL over the last 2 weeks on Rung 1.
    I am going to start weighing once a week so i no what foods effect me.

    Even if i stayed the same or just a half pound a week its better than gaining.
    Whats your thoughts;ioriginally set my goal to 133lbs, only 6lbs awayfrom that and i did want to set it to 126lbs....think this is possible.stats at bottom of page.

    Congrats for the 2 lbs. You can simply adjust your goal as you go -- I probably changed mine about 100 times before I decided to go by dress size rather than weight.

        It's hard to go by dress size here - one store I wear one size the store next to it at the mall I wear 2 sizes larger....it's discouraging at times but I'm learning the number on the scale or the number on the clothes doesn't matter near as much as how I percieve myself.

            Great progress, Danni

            Make sure you take measurements too or have some too-tight clothing to try so you can tell if your body shrinks without losing actual pounds. Dr Atkins thought that losing inches was perhaps a better indication of losing FAT then the scales movement!

              I agree Elizellen! I have only lost 12 lbs, probably a lot of water...i already fit into two pairs of jeans i bought delibratly that didnt fit me last year and they were skin tight and did not fit at waist and they fit me perfect with room to move...people already noticing the diffrence. I never took measurments, i plan to go by my clothes even when scales dont show weight loss.

              I really do love this plan...only thng that works for me and i am never hungry ever.
