I'm sorry, I was wondering why was it ok to have cheese and not ok to have yogurt, even this kind.

Ahh, I'm sorry for the late reply. I somehow forgot about this thread... until I've read your stats a few moments ago.

Cheese (especially the aged kind, which is the only one allowed during Induction) has a lower whey content than yogurt and it's the whey that carries the lactose (a form of sugar found in milk) after the caseins (a class of proteins in milk) are precipitated. That's why fresh cheeses (such as ricotta and cottage cheese), yogurt and milk are only allowed in OWL Rung 2 and not during Induction.

I saw that my small local grocery store just started carrying the Fage. I was so happy to see it but so far all they have is the kind that is plain yogurt with a small separate cup of fruit (which is definitely not Atkins friendly). There was a sticker on the shelf that said "plain" but there was none in stock so I am going to keep my fingers crossed.

Hope to have this as an option for Rung 2 someday.

If the yogurt is the normal plain fage with no non-induction ingredients you can always throw the fruit away! (or give it to someone)
I know it is hard to over-rule the lifelong insistence of our parents not to 'waste food' but better thrown in the waste bin than added to your waist
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
