    I ♥ Cheese

SERIOUSLY. Maybe too much. I have been doing just fine for the last 2 months eating 4 oz of cheddar or swiss / day and when I went to rung 2 I had some cottage & Ricotta just to try them out but it's not something I really care to eat so I was doing it more to see the effects. Now I am on to rung 3 and am slowly trying out nuts but I have a problem.... I CRAVE CHEESE!! I think about it all the time - lol. I wake up wanting to eat it, I don't of course & still stick to my limits but man I would eat it all day if I could. Think this is a trigger food for me?? It's not making me crave anything else. Are my tastebuds trying to make up for never eating "evil" cheese all these years ???

Oh dear - maybe you are related to Wallace and Gromit. I love them. Not a big fan of wensleydale cheese - have you tried it?
Anyways yes red flags with that reaction. I know that feeling I do that with pb which I hate because I like ti too much.
Can you take a cheese break and see if that helps?

DARN!! I was hoping everyone had this issue. I will cut it out for a week and see if it helps. How sad. It was my favorite part of this WOE.

Maybe just eat less cheese along with something else to make it go further. I like cheese and pickles or cheese and olives for a snack.

I love cheese too. In fact, if anyone knows of a world cheese tour, where you spend a month going from country to country sampling different cheeses, sign me up! There's a cheese I read about that is made in limited amounts by monks at a monastery in France. It's completely artisan: the monks raise the cows, and use the milk to make the cheese. *sigh* One day, I keep telling myself, one day..........

I would go "cold cheese" (aka "cold turkey").

                      Re: I ♥ Cheese

Maybe you can cut down by only using cheese as a garnish or in recipes rather than as a snack? Also using a very strong cheese can give you more 'cheesiness' than the milder ones.

I find a small amount of grated parmesan regianno gives a large 'kick' to recipes.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Working up the rungs I found that my cheese cravings did lessen. I went from eating fried cheese for snacks during induction to eating raw veggies... without cheese LOL
