  • Over eating veg :-(

    Hi for the last couple of days I really couldnt face any meat. Not sure why, so basically eaten eggs. Although today I had chicken. BUT...... I have over eaten on my veg. As you are aware, Im supposed to have 2 salad and one cup of other veg, plus my extra 5 carbs of lveg.

    If someone could have a quick look at my fit day and let me know how much damage I have done, that would be great.

    According to your fitday you are still way under 20 net carbs. I would not worry about that at all.
    I do worry about how little you eat. That is not good and will not help you. If you cannot eat meat - how about eating fish like tuna with mayo - a bit of cheese, avocado, olives. Move up the rungs to have some cottage cheese.

      Hi thanks for the reply. Ive been trying not to eat cheese as it seems to add weigh, so I only eat that whne Im desparate lol.

      I felt a bit better today and managed to stomach some chicken which was good. Funnily enough Ive just been shopping and brought salmon and tuna.

      I was more concerned with my veg intake. Thanks San x

        How many net carbs a day are you getting from your vegetables?

          Hi from fitday today totals carbs are as follows.

          10.2 carbs from veg total carb 11.6 minus diet fibre 3.7

            Sandra, your calories are very low. At that level, there is the risk of slowing down your metabolism.

            You also need more protein.

            What is your carbohydrate level now?

              Well, if you're eating enough ... and getting as close to 25 net carbs (which is what OWL Rung 1 is) as possible, you're not eating enough vegetables. MOST of your daily net carbs should be from Induction vegetables. MOST of 25 would be around 17-20.

                Looking back a few days, your net carbs are WAAAAAY too low.

                Your calories are too low, too.

                You're likely to come to a screeching halt with your losing fairly soon.

                      Eat more fat??? I thought I wase doing OK, my fat percentages on fitday are quite high, so I thought.

                        Your calories are too low. I would recommend more food in general. More fat, more protein, more veggies.

                          You are correct so what you need to change is to add a bit more of everything. I think you are doing pretty good. Just work on it.

                            You're right .. the fat %s are good ... it's the lack of food overall, and not enough net carbs that's the "real" issue.
