  • Moving up the rungs....

    Hey there,

    I had recently decided to move along through atkins and while Im still noticing "mild" loss, I have noticed that I am no longer in Ketosis! Does this matter? I have been watching net carbs and such and not going over board on the carbs whatsoever...so is this ok to not show a trace on sticks? Maybe once a day I will show medium trace and than it seems to fade out...could be from water, or just more veggie and berrie intake?




    HW-162/SW-152/CW-140/GW-130...and than some later if needed!

    First goal met 10lbs down

    If you mean your pee isn't turning a stick a color, no, it doesn't matter.

    If you're losing, that's what matters.

      Well I just did fit day and calculated my net carbs are up to 30.2 on average!
      So thats pretty good I suppose!

          Ok i just calculated that and net carbs from veggies is 18.01
          I have been eating alot of veggies...so if this seems low, i really dont think i can increase them! What do you think?

              You might want to bump up the vegetables another net carb or two, but there's really nothing "wrong". I was just being curious!

                I will do so tomorrow! I went shopping today and Im hoping to really stay on track this week! (I have been on track) but I really want to keep my veggies up and water for sure!

                  you are doing great. as long as you are getting the majority of your cals as fats you will be in ketosis buring them as fuel if you are losing. Watch for the return of appetite as you get closer to your CCLL.
