  • Change in plans for today

    Well, today I had to change my plans due to the weather. I moved to rung 5 today. My wife says the Gin Blossoms are playing downtown for a free show. So, heres what I did today.

    Breakfast- 4oz ground pork with sage, Black Pepper, salt, and paprika 3 extra large eggs(I usually put some onion and tomato in it,but I was already eating it when I noticed they werent there.)

    Lunch- sliced turkey, 1 avacado, and a dill pickle wedge.

    Dinner-(I plan on) one large chicken breast, sliced up, in a lettuce wrapp with onions tomato, mayo, and swiss cheese.

    Before the concert, 2 low carb beers.
    Age-36 years old
    Height- 5'11( I tell short people I am 6'0. they'll never know)
    All time high- 274 (Feb 2010)
    Atkins Start date- 2-26-2010
    Start weight- 274
    1st Minigoal- 250(reached 3-25-2010)
    2nd Minigoal- 235(reached 4-22-2010)
    3rd Minigoal- 219 (that would make me no longer obese)
    Goal- 200

        Keep in mind that alcohol can hit you hard the first time.

          Sounds good!!! I applaud your limit to 2 beers- On rung 5 I probably would do more than that. (I know its a no no). I hope I can be as devoted as you are when I get there!!!

            Yes, alcohol hits hard! But I am also 100 lbs less than coach. But just remember that when you drink alcohol it can affect you differently now, if you drive afterward, PLEASE!!!

              Your right, it hit me, but two beers were plenty. I had my wife buy a six pack and and put two in the fridge and the other four in the cabinet somewhere. It was a good day, and the concert was excellent!

                    I would not say I was thinner than someone else to be hurtful. I've been overweight and have overweight family members!!!!

                    I just know alcohol affects me now that I am on this WOL...a HUGE light weight. But for someone with more mass than I, it may still have affected you differently.

                    Just curious...have you weighed since your beer test? I am always curious to see how people's bodies react.
