Hey all,
I posted in the STAC board and they sent me here for some help...This is my second time around with Atkins and seem to be struggling this time. I finished Induction on Sunday and only lost 2.5 lbs but even worse I never got that lovely appetite suppression every talks about. I was and still am hungry most of the time. I have the 2002 DANDR and have read it several times, I have read all the stickies and I know what a clean Induction entails. I don't see anything about still being hungry anywhere!!
I also am a personal trainer and work out for an hour give or take everday. I will post my menus for yesterday and today and see what you all have to think...
--100 oz. water everyday
Day One
B: 1/6 of a homemade quiche (quiche made of 6 eggs, 1 cup heavy cream, 8 oz cheese and 1 lb all natural nitrate/preservitive/sugar free sausage), 1 cup herbal tea/plain
S: hard boiled free range egg
L: 5.5 oz ground buffalo patty with crumbled all natural sugar fee bacon and blue cheese on top and a side salad made of 2 cups spinach with blue cheese dressing
S: half of another buffalo patty dipped in mustard
D: Shrimp scampi made with roasted red peppers, olive oil, lemon juice and a touch of white wine over 1 cup spaghetti squash, with 2 tbs goat cheese feta
Before bed: 1 cup herbal tea/plain
Day Two
B: 1/6 of the same quiche as yesterday, 1 cup herbal tea/plain
S: 1 hb egg
L: Leftover Shrimp scampi from night before prepared the same way
S: other half of buffalo patty with mustard
D: Pot roast made in crock pot with red wine, onion and mushrooms and seasoning, side salad made with two cups romaine and olive oil and vinegar.
Before bed: 1 cup herbal tea plain
Let me know what you all think...This is pretty similar to what I have been eating the whole time. I usually make a couple of quiches and have those for Breakfast and snacks are usually hb eggs and leftover meat from roasts (beef or poultry) that I make a couple of times a week. Lunch is always leftovers from the night before.
Thanks a bunch in advance!!

I would think that oil and cider vinegar would be a better choice then other dressings??

What would we do without it?
