Re: Menu/ Stall /Advice
As someone is also hypothyroid with fibromyalgia, I know how difficult it is to lose weight, let alone exercise.
Atkins has been the only diet that has ever really worked for me. I have done it very strictly by the book, especially for Induction, and my weight loss is still slow but it is happening.
What you are missing especially are your veggies. They are important, and not just salad veggies. Try to get in at least a cup of broccoli, caulflower, green beans, etc. per day, in addition to salad ones if you want (lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, etc). They key to Atkins is the veggies.
Get rid of all the products and even try and avoid sweeteners, as even Splenda can stall some people. All I drink now is water and unsweet tea occasionally with some Splenda. If you're going to snack on something, make it veggies (celery, broccoli) or deli meat. I also liked pepperoni as a snack, but you also need to watch the sodium.
I would also like to make a couple recommendations for vitamins. I take Malic Acid and Magnesium supplements and both have helped my fibro and fatigue symptoms (do a Google search for articules detailing that those with fibromyalgia are often deficient in Magnesium). B Complex vitamin too has helped some. I also take a multivitamin and a few others as well (L-Carnitine, CoQ10, melatonin) I also get a massage once a month in addition to regular exercise of walking and lifting weights. I started out only being able to walk for 5 minutes, but now I can do an entire mile!
All these things, in addition to Atkins, have helped me feel much better. I hope you can find the same success.
